Some works which may look small but can have a huge impact on the society.In a village of Nitlas, which is located near Panvel, a truly unique and heartwarming event happened last week. A total of 393 schoolchildren, belonging to the age group of 6 to 14 years, seemed to have become a bit taller —obviously not because of what they were carrying, but because of the reason what they wore.
We must say thanks to the generosity and kindness of Varun Hiremath and the The Hiremath Family Foundation.They did a fabulous job last week by providing each child of the Raigad Zilla Parishad Prathmik School a brand-new pair of Infact it is a significant job done, because it was the first time for many of these children who slipped their feet into a shoe.
The children who were presented with a new pair of shoes were delighted after receiving the gift.The children went to the school barefoot every day through the dusty and uneven paths, and very often suffered from blisters and wounds on their feet.
